The control unit no longer sees continuity in this control circuit: a broken wire, an unplugged connector, or an open winding in the component. A multimeter checks both the component's resistance and the continuity of the wires.

What you notice

Check the hydraulic fluid level if the system uses one, the actuators' connectors and the battery voltage, since these gearboxes are sensitive to it. After any repair or a battery disconnection, a relearn of the positions with a suitable tool is often required.
